Court of Castilla - la Mancha

The building of the former convent of barefoot Franciscan was lifted in the seventeenth century, as a seminary for missionaries. After the disentailment in 1835 had various uses: it was provincial prison until 1939, after the Civil Guard barracks and fire station.
Since its last restoration and reform hosts the Castilla-La Mancha, with its ancient church the current Plenary Hall. The tunnel leading to the building was part of the project to unite the cornice that borders the city on the east side and south western exit. |
