Hermitage of Virgen de La Bastida
 
Located in a beautiful landscape of pine trees on the road of Arges, was the first sanctuary of the Franciscan community, moved in the late fifteenth century to the newly built monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. One of the most visited sites of La Bastida is the 'cave' where, according to tradition lived and died in solitude Blessed Ana Maria, also cited as Mariana de Jesus, in the seventeenth century.

It celebrated its traditional festival, the second weekend in May, culminating on Sunday with the procession by the wooded areas around the shrine. The previous Friday is the traditional lunch of potatoes with rabbit, followed later by tasting crumbs and lemonade.
