Alcántara Gates

| This is one of the most important gates of military compound in the eastern wall. It is of Arab origin, as betrays his elbow in structure, although it was rebuilt in Christian era. The vain is horseshoe arch and is flanked by two square towers with loopholes side. Its structure has been preserved until today for having been blind since the sixteenth century until the year 1911. The space between the door and the bridge was closed for a place other two side doors. |
